Collection: Zwilling Tanrei

The ZWILLING Tanrei knife range not only sounds Japanese, but it is also made in Japan. Japanese craftsmanship meets German engineering skills. The result is a six-piece knife set with exceptionally hard blades that are sharpened using the traditional Honbazuke hand technique.

A premium line of Japanese knives in a unique Damascus design and made of 101-layer, completely newly developed steel. All knives in this line are made in the Japanese city of Seki and are original, traditional crafts, hand-sharpened by true masters of their craft. The blades with a hardness of 63 HRC are very sharp, but at the same time flexible and resistant to corrosion. All have their own design with a unique Damascus pattern, typical of Japanese knives, which smoothly flows into the handle.

The ergonomic handle with three rivets and the handle made of fine Micarta ideally complement the Tanrei knives, both visually and tactilely. Japanese knives and ZWILLING thus become Tanrei - a connection with tradition and a new chapter in a success story.
