The OPINEL Intempora collection of large and small kitchen knives in a functional and designer design uses high-quality materials that will make everyone more skilled in the kitchen. Ten knives that will satisfy all your cooking needs: a large and small chef's knife , a bread knife, a Santoku knife , a fillet knife, a boning knife, slicing knives, a vegetable knife and a serrated slicing knife. The handle of the Intempora kitchen knives is made of impact-resistant glass fiber reinforced polymer, which is resistant to wear and high temperatures. The hand-polished surface finish gives the knives a very pleasant velvety appearance. The blade is made of modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel with a high carbon content for effective cutting properties and excellent corrosion resistance. The steel edge running the entire length of the knife ensures adequate balance and at the same time creates an interesting design element.

More than 130 years ago, Joseph Opinel invented the pocket knife that still bears his name in a small Savoyard village. The company, still run by Joseph Opinel's descendants, manufactures products ranging from small pocket knives to kitchen and cutlery knives and gardening tools in Chambéry, in the heart of the French Alps.
