The Zwilling Sorrento teapot brings to your home not only a glass teapot with a fine stainless steel strainer, but also an ingenious stainless steel stand in which you can place a tea candle and keep the tea at the desired temperature for a longer period of time. In short, an ideal set for preparing delicious tea . A successful combination of the traditional shape of a teapot and modern materials and an intelligent minimalist design according to the design of the Italian design studio Matheo Thun & Antonio Rodrigues

Borosilicate glass withstands thermal shocks well, resisting both high and low temperatures . Most teas need a water temperature between 80 and 100° C to properly develop their aroma and taste. Thanks to the stainless steel lid with a silicone seal, the temperature of the tea in the teapot remains constant throughout the steeping process.

Thanks to the extra fine stainless steel strainer, you can prepare even very mild tea such as Chai or delicate green tea, which usually have to be prepared in fine paper filters. The silicone seal between the strainer and the lid increases the comfort of using the teapot, as it reduces the heat transfer between the hot tea and the lid itself - there is no risk of scalding when in contact with the stainless steel lid.
