How to pack hot food to go?
There's nothing more comforting than a delicious meal that warms you up, whether you enjoy itat an outdoor picnic, at the office (where unfortunately there's not always a microwave available) or at the gym after a workout. Below are some tips for keeping the food in your bag warm:
- Choose a good quality insulated lunch bag. Opt for one that has an insulated lining that has been tested and passed approval! The linings of Monbento Fresh thermal bags are made of PEVA material, not only to ensure optimal food storage time at the right temperature, but also to make them easy to clean.
- Another essential tip to enjoy your food hot is to choose the right type of snack box - and food! Ideally, choose a vacuum insulated box like the Monbento Element, which will keep food warm for up to 10 hours (depending on contents and conditions of use). Before placing hot food in it (preferably using a hot plate to ensure an even temperature), prepare the box by filling it with boiling water for a few minutes. Meals with sauces stay hot the longest, so treat yourself to tasty meals such as risotto, pasta and stews even when you're out and about!

How big should a lunchbox bag be?
When choosing the size of your bag, keep in mind how much food you plan to take with you, as well as what you usually eat. This is because depending on whether you normally eat a light lunch, or a big hearty lunch or perhaps a main meal interspersed with light snacks throughout the day, you will need the same size bag. DISTRIBUTION POINTS
We offer the option of picking up at thousands of delivery points in the GLS and Balíkovna networks. Delivery to the delivery point is cheaper and offers greater flexibility, you can pick up the shipment when it suits you.
Please note, however, that there is a limited time for which the shipment will be available at the pick-up point.
Usually, the shipment must be picked up within 2-3 business days.
