Kähler Gingerbread ceramic candlestick Christmas Stable 11.5 cm

A tasteful Christmas classic made of handmade ceramics. Kähler Gingerbread is a collection of modern gingerbread houses and Christmas wreaths. The charming look is combined with the traditions of hand-made production in the glow of tea candles and Christmas traditions, which spread a distinctive style and a cozy atmosphere. Baking is part of Christmas and thanks to the realistic look, it is easy to imagine that Kähler has just pulled a freshly baked gingerbread hair out of the ceramic oven. You can almost smell the gingerbread, but don't be tempted to taste it: the entire Gingerbread collection is made of stoneware and the white glaze is ceramic.

The Kähler Gingerbread Christmas Candle Holder is 11.5 cm high and is inspired by a traditional old barn. Nowadays, such barns are most often found at rural Christmas markets, where they serve as a cozy and authentic setting for selling freshly baked Danish aebleskiver balls, Christmas decorations, mulled wine, knitted mittens and roasted almonds. The Christmas barn has a snow-covered roof and is decorated with fine details typical of gingerbread houses. The candle holder is designed for a tea light, making it ideal for spreading the Christmas spirit through hand-carved windows and unique features such as a large wooden gate with small windows.

The Kähler Gingerbread collection was designed by Mette Bache and Barbara Bendix Becker. Their designs are a combination of austere and authentic style. The geometric lines of the candlesticks are softened by subtle decorations and many windows and doors that are hand-carved to give a natural look and create a cozy atmosphere.
