Candlestick with a figurine representing a little girl who enjoys the magic of Christmas every Sunday before Christmas Eve. It has space for four candles and serves as an impressive Advent candlestick to celebrate the four Advent Sundays in the period before Christmas. The figurine made of white porcelain is surrounded by multi-colored glazes in natural Nordic shades.

Christmas Tales is a collection of impressive ceramic figurines inspired by Nordic nature and handcrafted in the renowned Kähler quality. With Christmas Tales you get a Christmas collection that will bring you Christmas joy and a magical atmosphere during this unique season. The collection was created in collaboration with ceramic designer Thora Finnsdottir, who breathed new life into the pine cones, tree stumps and mushrooms you find on a forest path, bringing the atmosphere of the winter forest right into your home.

Simply put, Christmas Tales presents a world of Christmas magic interpreted through ceramics. Each Christmas story by Thora Finnsdottir carries a Christmas message and reflects her experimental and exploratory approach to form and storytelling, drawing on Kähler’s artistic heritage and tradition of handcrafting.

The figures are made of white glazed ceramic, while the surrounding environment uses a variety of colored glazes in natural and Nordic shades. Natural structures and shapes were created by directly casting mushrooms, pine cones and tree stumps, which Finnsdottir breathed new life into through ceramics.

Christmas figurines from the Christmas Tales collection also make the perfect gift. Just as we send Christmas cards with personal greetings, we can delight our loved ones with a decorative figurine that reminds us to stop and enjoy Christmas and each other's company.

The Danish design brand KÄHLER has a long and fascinating history. It dates back to 1839, when Herman J. Kähler opened a ceramics workshop in the Danish town of Næstved. Later, his sons took over the business and that is when the real success story began. They began experimenting with shapes and different types of glazes, attracting a number of renowned designers to the workshop. This gradually led to international recognition and the KÄHLER brand continued to grow.

With over 180 years of experience in traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship and design, KÄHLER is now owned by architect Frantz Longhi, who shaped the brand into its current form. KÄHLER is best known for its ceramic range, such as vases, dinnerware and candlesticks.
